Mission

The mission of “Sharing” Association is to create a more sustainable and inclusive society by encouraging the adoption of sharing economy practices. The foundation envisions a world where individuals and communities maximize the use of resources through collaborative consumption, thereby reducing waste, promoting sustainability, and enhancing social connections.

“Sharing” Association is a nonprofit focused on educating, promoting, and expanding the understanding and adoption of the sharing economy, particularly emphasizing shared mobility and peer-to-peer-based sharing models. By fostering awareness and providing education on the benefits of sharing resources, the foundation seeks to build a community-oriented approach to consumption and mobility.

Key Objectives

01

Raising Awareness

The association seeks to inform the public about the principles and advantages of the sharing economy. Through workshops, seminars, and online platforms, it educates individuals on how to participate in and benefit from shared resources and services.

02

Promoting Shared Mobility

One of the association’s primary goals is to increase the use of shared mobility solutions, such as carpooling, bike-sharing, and ride-sharing. These initiatives not only reduce carbon footprints but also provide more accessible and affordable transportation options.

03

Supporting Peer-to-Peer Sharing

“Sharing” Association supports peer-to-peer (P2P) sharing platforms that enable individuals to share goods, services, and skills directly with each other. This model fosters community engagement and helps people save money, reduce waste, and connect with others.

04

Encouraging Policy Development

The association advocates for policies that support the growth of the sharing economy. By working with governments, businesses, and other organizations, it seeks to create a favorable regulatory environment that encourages innovation and participation in shared economic activities.

Benefits of the sharing economy

The benefits of the sharing economy collectively contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive, and efficient economy.

By sharing resources like vehicles, tools, or living spaces, individuals can significantly reduce their expenses. This allows people to access what they need without the full cost of ownership.

The sharing economy promotes the efficient use of resources, reducing waste and lowering carbon footprints. Fewer products need to be manufactured, leading to less pollution and resource depletion.

People gain access to goods and services that might otherwise be unaffordable or unavailable to them. This democratizes access to resources and opportunities.

Sharing resources fosters stronger social connections as people interact and collaborate more with their neighbors and peers, leading to more resilient communities.

The sharing economy often provides flexible and on-demand access to goods and services, offering greater convenience and the ability to tailor usage to individual needs.

It creates new income streams for individuals who can rent out their assets, share their skills, or offer services, thereby empowering entrepreneurship and supplementing incomes.

The sharing economy encourages the development of new business models, technologies, and platforms that increase efficiency and reduce costs for both providers and consumers.

People can enjoy the benefits of products and services without the long-term commitments and responsibilities associated with ownership, such as maintenance and storage.

By maximizing the use of existing products and resources, the sharing economy contributes to a circular economy, where waste is minimized, and the lifecycle of goods is extended.
